The Old Goat Track Club XC Classic takes place on Sunday, August 23, 2026, at Waters Farm, 53 Waters Road, Sutton, MA. This is the fourth running of the 5 km cross-country race around fields at the farm. The event is a stop on the USATF New England XC Grand Prix series and is part of the USATF New England All Terrain series.

Race logistics

Pre-registration is $35 plus a small transaction fee. Race day registration is $40 and is handled by paper application on site; cash and Venmo are accepted. Parking is available free at the event; Waters Road is the only entry and exit to the farm and one lot may have restricted entry during race times. The course follows the same path as the prior year, briefly crosses pavement, and is described as spike friendly.

There is no water fountain at the site; water and bananas will be available for runners at the finish. Restrooms include five portable units and one handicapped-accessible portable bathroom at the Darling Barn. A designated team tent area is located by the starting line.
