Oktoberfest Rotary Run - Bloomington, IL

The Oktoberfest Rotary Run takes place at GE Park / Union Park Clubhouse in Bloomington, Illinois on October 18, 2026. The event is a fundraiser supporting BN Sunrise Rotary’s Youth Services and the CCHS Rotaract Club.

The main race is a chip timed 5K on the Constitution Trail. The course starts and finishes at GE Park, loops through Tipton Trails, and returns to GE Park. Trails are blacktop for the entire route.

Registration is electronic only; participants must register online in advance. Late and race day registration are electronic as well and no paper forms are used. Registrants are assigned a bib number automatically after payment and should show their confirmation email at bib pickup. Bib and shirt pickup is available at Fleet Feet Bloomington on Saturday, October 17 from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm, and at GE Park before the race on Sunday from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm. A T shirt is only guaranteed for those who register by October 2.

Results are sent by text to participants who opt in and are updated throughout the day at ItsRaceTime.com. Ceramic steins are awarded to the top three in each 5K age group for participants who run in person on race day: Top Male and Female Overall, and Top 3 Male and Female in each age group 14 and under, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65 and over.

Five Thursday nights in July at Maxwell Park in Normal, IL featuring 800 meter, 2 mile and 3 mile cross country races. Weekly entry is $5 or $20 for all five nights; awards night with age-group prizes is on 7/30.

A youth and family 2K obstacle course at Maxwell Park with about 15 obstacles. Waves serve ages 5 and up; participants get a shirt, medal and a timed result, with trophies for top three in each competitive age group.

Hill of a Race 2026 in Bloomington, IL combines a lap based Endurance Challenge with multiple 3 mile obstacle course waves, including competitive men, women, masters and several recreational waves.
