Comlara Trail Run

Lake Run Club, established in 1982, is hosting a summer trail run competition in Hudson, Illinois (N 1300 East Rd). The event is part of the Lake Run Club Trail Run Series and includes multiple timed and untimed options.

The course is a loop of about 4.1 miles measured with a GPS watch. Most timed options require each loop to be completed within one hour; at the top of each hour any runner not back from the loop will be removed from that timed competition. Runners who finish a loop early may use remaining time to refuel, rest, or use facilities. The 12 hour Sunrise to Sunset format is run as a last person standing competition and is listed as 51 miles if every loop is completed. If multiple people complete the final loop, the fastest man and fastest woman on that lap are declared winners.

• Comlara 12 Hour Sunrise-Sunset Ultra: 51 miles if all loops completed
• Summer Siesta 6 hour trail run: 25.5 miles
• Breakfast Club 3 hour trail run: 12.75 miles
• Come as you are 1 hour trail run: 4.25 miles
• Run until I'm done: untimed, course open for 12 hours
• Comlara Ultra Relay Team Competition

Additional details: packet pickup is onsite Friday 5-7 PM. Race day registration is online only and is offered at a higher cost. Partial proceeds benefit Comlara parks. Camping is available.
