Ogden Midsummer Madness

Ogden Midsummer Madness is a challenging Category AS fell race held at the scenic Ogden Water nature reserve near North Halifax. Covering 3.5 miles with approximately 1000 feet of climb, the race features diverse terrain including stony trails, boggy ground, narrow ridges, steep climbs, technical descents, stream crossings, tussocks, ravines, waterfalls, and steep stone steps. The course offers a fast, runnable downhill finish by the reservoir. Due to the complex and technical nature of the route, prior recce is recommended. Organized by Halifax Harriers, the event supports the maintenance of the nature reserve and includes post-race presentations and optional camping nearby.
