OC Trail Runners Group Run - Newport Coast, CA - June 27, 2026

This is a free, social, non-competitive group trail run taking place in El Moro and Laguna Coast Wilderness Park in Newport Beach. The event is presented as a community run focused on enjoying the outdoors and one another, with a different route on each meeting.

The meeting location is in front of the restrooms at Coastal Peak Park, 20403 East Coastal Peak, Newport Coast. Cross streets are East Coastal Peak and Ridge Park Road.

Saturday's route is approximately 5.7 miles with about 760 feet of vertical gain. The course is hilly and includes some steep, rocky sections. The route may change due to occasional intermittent closures within the park.

Participants are asked to have some trail running experience. Specifically, runners should be comfortable maintaining an 11-minute mile pace on trails and handling steep uphill sections and challenging rocky downhills. A complimentary snack offering and a raffle drawing are planned after the run. Participants should bring hydration and some fuel. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
