Course Details
The course is over 16 miles long with minimal road crossings and includes lots of single track trail. The specific layouts are loop-based.
- The 50 Mile course consists of three 16.6-mile loops.
- The 50K course consists of two 15.5-mile loops.
- The Half Marathon course is one 13.1-mile loop.
Aid Stations
There are three aid station locations on the course: High Rock, La Tourette, and the Nature Center. The Nature Center serves as the start and finish area. Aid stations typically provide items like fruit, peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, potatoes, pretzels, chips, candy, broth, bacon, quesadillas, and pierogies. Vegan and gluten-free options are available.
Logistics
Parking is at the Rec Center and nearby lots on Brielle Avenue in Staten Island. The start/finish line is accessible via a 0.2-mile gravel path or a shuttle bus from the parking area. For the 50K and 50 Mile distances, pacers are allowed to join runners at specific points on the course.
