The Northumberland Run Forest Run takes place on Sunday, June 14, 2026, at 101 Woodland Rd #199, Roseneath, ON. Registration is limited to 100 participants. The event is held on forest trails in the Northumberland area and supports St. John Ambulance.

Race options

  • 3 km - The Jenny: a 4-hour challenge run on a repeated 3K loop.

  • 9 km - The Bubba: a single 9K loop.
  • 24.6 km - The Full Gump: a combined route of the loops plus an out-and-back to Lookout Mtn.

Logistics and safety

Participants are expected to be self-supported. There are no marshals on course; runners must carry their own nutrition and water. A water refill station and aid are available at the start area (Location 50 on the event map). Participants may carry a cell phone or a sounding device such as a whistle for emergency contact. Most trails named Purple Finch, Black Oak, and Sweet Fern are free from motorized vehicles, but some trail sections allow vehicle access. For participant safety, dogs are not allowed on course. T-shirts are available for purchase during registration. Refunds are not offered, though transfers may be possible within a reasonable time frame.
