The Northumberland Run Forest Run is a trail running event set in scenic forest trails, offering participants four distinct race options. Runners can choose The Jenny, a 4-hour run on a 3K loop; The Lieutenant Dan, a challenging 7.5K loop with steep hills; The Bubba, a 9K loop ideal for a leisurely run or walk; or The FULL GUMP, a 24.6K route combining all loops plus an out-and-back to Lookout Mountain. The course features narrow trails mostly free from motorized vehicles, and participants are self-supported with aid available only at the start.
