Boomerang Trail Run

The event takes place on the trails at Batawa Ski Hill in Quinte West, Ontario. The main loop measures about 7 km+ and participants complete as many loops as they can during the chosen time period.

Available time options:

  • 2 hours of looped running
  • 4 hours of looped running
  • 6 hours of looped running

The course includes hills, rocks, roots, sticks, mud and insects. There is one road crossing that runners use at their own risk. Trail widths vary from sections wide enough to run side by side to single file tracks, so polite passing is expected.

The route is marked but has no mile markers. Runners pass the aid station once per 7 km loop, with water and Tailwind available approximately halfway through the loop. The event is cup free; volunteers will refill hydration packs and bottles. Space is provided at the start and finish for drop bags and chairs.

Kit pick up takes place before the race and further details are emailed to participants. Participants must check in at the timing table at the start and end of each loop; a universal clock records times which are posted after race day. No refunds or deferrals are offered. Portable toilets are on site and there are no changing rooms. Swag deadline is May 18. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
