Northampton 10k

Northampton 10k is organised by Cancer Research UK and takes place at Abington Park in Northampton. The event includes multiple distances and supports fundraising for cancer research. The published minimum fundraising target is £50. Entry prices vary by age group.

The start and finish are located at the top of the field beside the event parking. The course runs through Abington Park on a mix of pathways and grass and leaves the main path at times. The ground can become boggy in poor weather and there is uneven terrain along sections of the route.

Facilities noted for the event include refreshments and toilets. Dogs are allowed and bike racks are available in the park. Event parking is on grass next to the site; blue badge parking is provided within the event car park. The nearest electric charging points are at The County Cricket Ground. Several local bus routes serve the park and the closest train station is Northampton, about 4 miles away.

The event is chip timed. Participants receive a fundraising pack, a customisable back sign and a Race for Life medal on completion.
