The course is a trail route with sand, gravel and grass sections. The route requires little navigation and has an aid station on each lap. Organisers note that road trainers are suitable for many conditions while trail shoes may be useful depending on prior weather.

The event is a timed race with a six hour cut off and a four hour cut off for later starts. Race HQ and the lap point are at the start area, which is visible from the car park. Registration is on arrival to collect bib numbers. There is no baggage service and the lap passes the car park each circuit. Parking is included in the event cost and a parking code must be collected before departure. The event is cupless so runners must bring their own bottle or cup for refilling.

Maximum entrants are 100 and minimum age is 18. Entry options include bespoke finisher medals, standard finisher medals and lucky dip medal options. Virtual entries are available for remote completion. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
