The No Hands Trail Run is scheduled for January 10, 2026, at American River Canyon Overlook Park in Auburn, CA. The event has a total capacity of 400 runners across all distances. Registration and race operations use professional chip timing with disposable chips attached to the back of each bib. Parking is free within the park and on adjacent streets. - 8K - 4.8 miles with 950' elevation gain
Most of the routes run on technical dirt trails. Courses use colored ribbon and laminated signs for navigation; blue ribbons mark wrong-way trails. Runners on the half and 8K will encounter steep hills. The 50K crosses Highway 49 to use the Wendell T. Robie trail and explore the Auburn State Recreation Area. Hiking poles are permitted. Aid station spacing varies, and organizers encourage runners to carry at least one 20oz bottle. Awards include overall and age-group prizes; all 50K finishers receive a custom pint glass.
