Night Owl 5K - Anne Springs Close Greenway
Night Owl 5K is a night trail event held at Anne Springs Close Greenway. The course starts and finishes at the Lake Haigler entrance and uses popular Greenway trails. Food and drink service is available at the nearby Greenway Canteen and the visitor center offers gear and membership services.
The event includes multiple participation options:
- 5K timed trail race
- Hike Challenge untimed experience on the same 5K course
- 1-mile Fun Run/Walk, untimed, with a finisher’s prize
Awards apply to the 5K only. Overall awards are given to the top three male and female finishers, and age-group awards are offered for male and female divisions in these groups: 19 & under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+.
Additional event notes: early packet pickup is available before race day. Race swag details are forthcoming. Volunteer positions are listed by the organizer. Registration is non-refundable unless a refund protection plan is purchased; transfers more than two weeks in advance may be allowed at the Race Director’s discretion. Events proceed in most weather; cancellations for severe weather may occur with no refunds unless refund protection was purchased. Greenway members are exempt from parking fees at signature events; standard daily admission fees apply to non-members ages 3 and up. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
