Night on the Edge : Mount Edgcumbe, Cremyll

Night on the Edge is a night road/trail event on a section of the Cornish SW Coast Path, starting at Cremyll at Mount Edgcumbe, passing through Cawsand (turnaround for the 10K) and continuing to Rame Head Chapel (turnaround for the half marathon). The event takes place on 29 November 2025 at Mount Edgcumbe outside, Cremyll, Torpoint PL10 1HX. Canix categories are offered alongside standard race categories.

Entry, logistics and race services

Entry prices are listed as £35 for the half marathon, £25 for the 10K and £21 for the 5K. Age limits: half marathon and 10K open to entrants aged 16 and over on the event date; 5K open to entrants aged 12 and over. The overall cut-off is 3 hours.

Included services on the event day are RFID chip timing, a marshalled course, professional first aid, public liability insurance, parking, and prizes for category winners. Medals are available as an optional extra. Parking options noted include several local pay-and-display car parks with space for approximately 50 to 100 cars and a separate car park for up to 40 cars at the Edgcumbe Arms.

There is a ferry service between Plymouth and Cremyll/Torpoint. The ferry runs about every 30 minutes and the crossing takes about eight minutes; fares cited are £4 and £3 for under 15s.
