Event Details

Luke's Mountain is part of the Hill and Dales League for 2026. The event will take place in County Down, organized by Newcastle AC.

The course covers a distance of 7.30 km with a total climb of 450 m. The terrain is described as easy. Race marking will only be present at major junctions, and the use of GPS devices is not allowed.

Mandatory Kit

All runners must bring a specific kit list, categorized as Level B - Standard. The required items are:

  • Waterproof jacket
  • Hat or buff
  • Gloves
  • Whistle
  • Charged mobile phone with stored emergency number
  • Foil blanket, bivvy bag, or equivalent

Runners must have the means to carry all this equipment. The specific items to be carried during the race will be confirmed on the event day based on conditions, and instructions will be provided at registration. Random kit checks may be conducted, and failure to present the required items can result in denied entry or disqualification.
