New Forest Stinger

The New Forest Stinger is an annual 10-mile trail running event held in the scenic New Forest at Ocknell Campsite, Fritham. Organized by Totton Running Club, the race features an undulating off-road course that follows approved trails and paths, offering some of the best views in the forest. The event includes amenities such as exclusive medals, medical cover, free parking, goody bags, water stations, and toilets.

Trophies are awarded to the top three finishers and age category winners (40+, 50+, 60+). The race is UK Athletics and Trail Running Association permitted, with strict environmental guidelines to protect the forest. Dogs and standard wheelchairs are not permitted on the course.
