New Forest Stinger 2026

The New Forest Stinger is a club-hosted off-road race organised by Totton Running Club and scheduled for Sunday 22 November 2026 at Ocknell Campsite, Fritham, Lyndhurst SO43 7HH. The route uses trails in the New Forest and is described as scenic and mainly on trail.

The event distance is 10 miles, run on an undulating trail course. The race is organised under UK Athletics rules on a Trail Running Association permit (permit number tbc). Entry fees include an exclusive medal, medical cover, free parking, a goody bag and spot prizes, water stations and toilets. Trophies are awarded to 1st, 2nd and 3rd overall and to age category winners at 40+, 50+, 60+ and 70+.

Numbers are collected on the day and Race HQ will be open from 08:00; the start line is about 1 km away from Race HQ. The course is unsuitable for standard wheelchairs though the start and finish area is access friendly for supporters. Dogs are not permitted on course. Under the organiser's rules the use of MP3 players and similar devices is not permitted while running the course; bone conducting headphones are permitted.

Additional event details: entries close 19/11/2026, maximum 301 entrants, minimum age 17 years. Transfers are permitted; no deferrals or refunds. If the race is cancelled any proceeds after costs will be donated to the club charity. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
