New Forest Stinger 2026
New Forest Stinger is a scenic off-road race in the New Forest, organised by Totton Running Club and scheduled for Sunday 22 November 2026. The course is mainly on trail and described as undulating; the advertised distance is 10 miles.
The event is held at Ocknell Campsite, Fritham, Lyndhurst SO43 7HH, with entries limited to 301 competitors and a minimum age of 17 years. Entries close on 19/11/2026. The race is run under UK Athletics rules on a Trail Running Association permit (permit number tbc).
Entry fees listed are £22.50 for affiliated entrants and £24.50 for unattached entrants. The entry fee includes an exclusive medal, goody bag and spot prizes, water stations, toilets, medical cover, free parking and trophies for 1st to 3rd plus age-category trophies for 40+, 50+, 60+ and 70+ winners.
Race headquarters will be open from 8am for number collection; the start line is approximately 1 km from race HQ. The course is unsuitable for standard wheelchairs, though the start and finish area is access friendly for supporters. Dogs are not permitted on the course. Transfers are permitted by the organiser; no deferrals or refunds are available. Under organiser and UK Athletics rules, use of MP3 players and similar devices while running is not permitted; bone-conducting headphones are allowed.
