Moors Valley Festive Trail Runs

Wild Deer Events stages a festive trail running day at Moors Valley Country Park in Ringwood, Dorset (BH24 2ET) on Sunday 6 December 2026. The event offers a choice of woodland and lakeside routes with a seasonal theme and encourages participants to wear Christmas hats or outfits.

Available distances include:

  • 2 km Festive Fun Run - children aged 5 to 14 (accompanying adult can run for free)
  • 5 km Festive Trail Run - entrants must be over 11 years
  • 10 km Festive Trail Run - entrants must be over 15 years

Entry prices range from £12 to £26 depending on the distance. Route specifics are listed as TBC. On-site parking is available at normal parking rates and car sharing is recommended where possible.

The format and age categories distinguish the short family fun run from the longer trail runs. The setting uses forest paths and lakeside tracks typical of Moors Valley Country Park. The event is presented as a seasonal, family-oriented running occasion with separate entry options and stated age limits for each race.
