New England Spartan Event Weekend

The New England Spartan Event Weekend takes place at Carter and Stevens Farm in Barre, Massachusetts. The venue features a working farm landscape characterized by rolling trails, mud, woods, and streams. The terrain consists of lush fields and rolling hills typical of the Massachusetts countryside.

The weekend includes several distinct event types and distances:

  • Super 10K: A 10 km course featuring 25 different obstacles.
  • Sprint 5K: A 5 km course consisting of 20 obstacles.
  • Kids Race: Distances ranging from 1 km to 3 km accompanied by obstacles.
  • Obstacle Workshop: Skills training session held the day before the main races.

On-site facilities at the farm include a farm store and a brewery. The farm store offers homemade ice cream, fresh milk, and grass-fed beef. The event provides both general and VIP parking options for participants and spectators. Participants have the option to register individually or as part of a team to ensure shared start times. Discounts are available for military members, law enforcement, firefighters, first responders, and government employees through a verification process.
