Nature Run 5K and 10K at Loretto Motherhouse

The event takes place on June 20, 2026, at the Loretto Motherhouse, Old Tobacco Barn, 515 Nerinx Rd, Nerinx, KY. It includes in-person and virtual options.

  • Nature Run 5K - 3.1 miles
  • Nature Run 10K - 6.2 miles (two laps of the 5K course)
  • VIRTUAL Nature Run 5K - 3.1 miles

The course passes through woodlands, around lakes, along grassy trails, and on graveled paths lined with cattle. The route includes some incline and areas of uneven ground. Walkers are welcome. For safety, dogs are not allowed on the course.

A coffee and breakfast food truck will be on site for purchase of refreshments. Educational booths and activities will also be available. Early registrants receive a complimentary race t-shirt.

Registration opens for the 5K and the virtual 5K on February 6, 2026, and for the 10K on February 19, 2026. Registration closes on June 20, 2026. Registration fees listed are $35 for each 5K and $45 for the 10K.

Experience a weekend of outdoor sports at McDougal Lake with trail runs and mountain bike races ranging from 4 to 32 miles. Compete for podium spots or enjoy the party lap at this multi discipline trail festival.

A 31-mile road endurance run from downtown Elizabethtown to the Brandenburg waterfront in Meade County. Entry is limited to 50 runners, qualifications are verified, and each runner must have a crew vehicle and wear a safety reflective vest.
