Green River Lake Trail Half Marathon

Green River Lake Trail 5K, 10K, & Half Marathon : Campbellsville, KY

The 6th annual Green River Lake Trail event takes place on May 30, 2026 at Green River Lake State Park, 179 Park Office Rd., Campbellsville, KY. The day offers multiple off road distances that use park trails and grass surfaces.

Distances include:

• 0.8 Miles - 10 and under, singletrack start and grass finish.
• 3.1 Miles - 5K on changing surfaces; sections are runnable for experienced trail runners.
• 6.2 Miles - 10K with more technical terrain, including roots, loose rocks, and steeper climbs and descents.
• 13.1 Miles - Half marathon, new for 2026, on trail surfaces.

Course notes describe mostly off road trail running. The 10 and under course is roughly half trail and half grass and is described as mostly flat and not very technical. The 5K and 10K courses include runnable sections; the 10K is noted as more technical than the 5K. Walkers are mentioned as welcome on shorter distances.

Bib pickup is scheduled Friday afternoon at Running Soles in downtown Campbellsville and again at the race venue the morning of the event. Dogs are allowed at the venue but are not permitted on the course during races. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
