The Green River Lake Trail 5k, 10K, & Half Marathon takes place at Green River Lake State Park in Campbellsville, Kentucky. This off-road event represents its sixth annual edition and utilizes the park's natural terrain for all its courses. Course Details
The event consists of several distinct distances that cater to different experience levels:
- Half Marathon: A 13.1 mile trail race introduced to the event lineup for 2026.
- 10K: A 6.2 mile technical route featuring sections with roots, loose rocks, and steep climbs and descents.
- 5K: A 3.1 mile off-road course through changing surfaces where walkers are permitted.
- 10 & Under Kids Run: A 0.8 mile intro course split between singletrack trail and grass surfaces.
Participation Requirements
The event is strictly off-road and does not allow dogs on the race course, though pets are permitted at the general venue. For the youth run, parents are allowed to accompany participants provided they have signed a waiver. All youth finishers receive a medal, a chip time, and a number plate.
