Hardin-Meade Endurance Run (31 Miler)

The Hardin-Meade Endurance Run is a 31 mile point-to-point event in Kentucky, starting in downtown Elizabethtown and finishing at the waterfront park in downtown Brandenburg, Meade County. Entry is limited to 50 participants and registration is handled through UltraSignup with minimum qualification verification.

Because July weather in the region can be hot and humid, organizers strongly recommend that entrants have completed at least one ultra distance (50K or longer) or at least two full marathons before participating. Runners will be assigned to one of three starting waves based on recent validated road marathon finish times.

Each runner must have at least one crew vehicle to provide support during the course; multiple runners may share a crew vehicle only if they start and finish together. Crew vehicles must display warning signage stating runners are on the road, keep warning or flashing lights on, and be in good working order. Crew vehicles will leapfrog runners rather than follow directly or drive in front. Runners and allowed pacers must wear safety reflective vests for the duration of the event. Pacers are permitted until the intersection of Highway 60 and Highway 313 and must run beside or behind the runner at all times.

A safety briefing will be held before each designated start. There is a paid option to cover a race logo shirt and a free no shirt option. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
