The Crooked Creek Ultra Trail Race is a two day trail running weekend on December 5 and 6, 2026, held at Camp Crooked Creek inside the Harry S. Frazier Scout Reservation near Shepherdsville, Kentucky. The course uses a 12.7 mile loop with over 2,300 feet of elevation gain per lap across roughly 1,000 acres of rolling hills and hardwood forest of oak, hickory, and beech. The start and finish sit near the 70 acre John Barr Lake, adjacent to the runner village.

The event opens access to trails that are typically off limits to the public. The start-finish area includes space for support tents. Participants in the 100 mile and 50 mile events have a designated Pit Road that allows support teams to meet runners at the start-finish and again at the three mile mark of each loop. Heated shower houses and heated bathrooms are available at the camp. Camp Crooked Creek offers unheated cabins and primitive camping options, and additional lodging options exist within a ten minute radius.

Cutoffs are stated for the longer distances, including a 36 hour cutoff for the 100 mile and a 16 hour cutoff for the 50 mile. The event is located about 15 minutes from Louisville International Airport and is accessed from Interstate 65 in Shepherdsville.
