The Falls & Forest 12-Hour Challenge is an endurance running event held at Saunder Springs Nature Preserve in Radcliff, Kentucky. The event offers three participation formats.

Event Format

Participants have 12 hours to cover as many miles as possible on a loop course within the preserve. The course features a variety of terrain, including shaded forest trails, rocky climbs, creekside paths, and waterfalls.

Trail runs nearby

A trail running event in Fairdale KY over single track forest trails offering 50K, 15 Miler and 6 Miler options. The race was moved to May 23, 2026 and includes packet pickup, a pasta dinner and a post race gathering.

Run a scenic lakeside out and back 5K at Freeman Lake Park to support families affected by Batten Disease. Every participant receives a finisher medal for completing this meaningful community event in Elizabethtown.

Experience a weekend of outdoor sports at McDougal Lake with trail runs and mountain bike races ranging from 4 to 32 miles. Compete for podium spots or enjoy the party lap at this multi discipline trail festival.

A limited field 31 mile supported run from Elizabethtown KY to the Brandenburg waterfront park. Runners must meet ultra or marathon experience requirements and be supported by a crew vehicle with safety signage and lights.
