Adventure Trail Ultras : O'Bannon Woods State Park

Adventure Trail Ultras takes place on Sept 19th, 2026 at O'Bannon Woods State Park with the start/finish at the Group Camp. The event offers multiple trail distances on the Adventure Trail system and on-site camping and lodging options.

Distances

• 50 Mile (two laps of the 25-mile Adventure Trail loop)
• 50 Mile Relay (2-4 person, per-person option)
• 50K (starts with a unique six-mile introductory loop, then joins the 25-mile loop)
• 25K (begins on a separate section for about seven miles, then intersects the main loop)

Course and services: courses feature rolling and technical singletrack, scenic ridgelines, creek crossings, steady climbs, and faster forest sections. Preliminary course maps are posted and subject to revision. Aid stations are described as well-stocked; drop bags are allowed for 50 Mile and 50K runners only. Optional live tracking and post-race food are listed. Cutoffs: 50 Mile 16 hours, 50K 13.5 hours, 25K 13 hours.

Logistics and extras: online registration closes Sept 12 at midnight; limited in-person registration race weekend if not sold out with a $10 surcharge. On-site bunkhouse lodging is listed at $35 per night with limited availability; additional park camping is available. Post-race items include finisher medals, age-group and overall awards, a fire pit and festival atmosphere, and nearby attractions such as Marengo Cave, hiking, kayaking, and biking.
