The Naked Mountain Ultra takes place Saturday, March 7, 2026, at Morrow Mountain State Park in Albemarle, North Carolina. The event features the following distances:

Course and logistics

Morrow Mountain State Park contains about 32 miles of trail. The course loops the park and crosses four of the park's mountain peaks. The 50 mile event has a 15 hour cutoff. 50 mile runners must also begin their second lap by the 7.5 hour mark in order to continue. 25 mile and 10 mile runners may take the day to complete their distances.

There will be at least four aid stations on course offering hot and cold food, gels, and snacks. Huma Gel is listed as the event hydration partner and product sampling will be provided. Pacers are allowed for the 50 mile event only after the runner completes the first lap. Crew members may be positioned on the course so long as they do not interfere with other participants.

Run the 35th Uwharrie Mountain Run on February 7, 2026 and tackle hilly, chilly single track in Uwharrie National Forest near Ophir NC. Enjoy hearty aid stations, a long sleeve race shirt and handmade pottery awards.

Uforea offers day and night 50K races and a combined 100K on scenic Uwharrie and Dutchman's Creek trails near Troy NC. The same two loop course is run in opposite directions for a unique day and night challenge. Register by April 11.
