Flint's Fabulous 5K in Kannapolis, North Carolina is a 5K run or walk held on September 26, 2026 at 150 North Research Campus Drive. Leashes of Valor sources many dogs from shelters and places pups with approved foster families for training. Training begins around eight weeks of age and continues until dogs reach public access training at about 1.5 to 2.0 years. The organization provides veterinary care and training resources during this period. Flint is a yellow Labrador retriever who is a fully trained service dog from Leashes of Valor.

The 2026 edition is part of the Run Kannapolis Race Series; registering for all eight races in the series qualifies for a 25% discount. Packet pickup provides shirts, bibs, and safety pins the day prior or at the start finish area, and finisher bags are distributed at the finish. The event is dog friendly; well socialized dogs are welcome and owners must clean up after them. Registration is open through race day. There are no refunds unless the participant enrolled in a refund protection program and race management may cancel or modify the event for unfavorable conditions.
