Flint's Fabulous 5K - 2026

Flint's Fabulous 5K is scheduled for September 26, 2026 at 150 North Research Campus Drive, Kannapolis, NC. The event raises funds for Leashes of Valor, a nonprofit that provides highly trained service dogs at no cost to post-9/11 veterans. Registration fees and optional add-on donations support training supplies, veterinary care and foster families during the dog training process.

The 2026 edition is the third annual race and has joined the Run Kannapolis race series. Participants who register for all eight races in the series receive a 25% discount on total registration. Registration options include a base registration that covers a race shirt and training treats and an option without a shirt. Registration is open through race day.

Logistics and amenities include packet pickup the day before or at the Start/Finish area on race day, race shirts and bibs at pickup, and finisher bags distributed at the finish. The event is dog friendly; organizers request dogs be well socialized and for owners to consider heat and surface conditions for animals. Race management may cancel or modify the event for safety or unfavorable conditions. Refunds are not available except for those enrolled in the Refund Protection Program; registration fees are not refundable in the event of cancellation due to Acts of God.
