Mutt Strut 5k Memphis is a dog-friendly charity event held on October 10, 2026, at 2080 Poplar Avenue in Memphis. The event benefits Dogs 2nd Chance and uses a scenic 3.1 mile course in Overton Park that begins near Rainbow Lake Pavilion across from Overton Bark dog park. Options include an in-person 5K and a virtual 5K; a Ghost Runner T shirt only option is also listed.

All participants who cross the finish line receive a Mutt Strut 5k medal. The event offers team fundraising opportunities and medal awards for overall top finishers and age-group placings. Overall and age-based awards include top male and female, master and grand master categories, plus the top three in each age group from 1-11 up to 80+.

Event rules for canine participants require short non-retractable leashes, prohibit female dogs in heat and puppies under 12 weeks, and require owners to assume responsibility for their animals. Dogs must be accompanied at all times, owners may be asked to show current rabies certificates, and fresh water is provided during and after the run.

Packet pickup is scheduled for Thursday Oct 8 (3:00-6:30 pm), Friday Oct 9 (3:00-6:00 pm), and Saturday morning starting at 7:45 am. Parking is available around Rainbow Lake Pavilion, including Veterans Plaza, Golf Drive, and Morrie Moss Lane.
