The start area has space for personal aid stations, tents, coolers, and chairs. There are two aid stations: a start/finish station and one on course, stocked with water, Tailwind sports drink, and food.

Time limits and cutoffs: the 50K, 100K, and 100K relay races have a 14-hour overall time limit. The 25K Fun Run has a 7-hour time limit. Intermediate cutoffs require 50K runners to complete three loops and start their final loop within about 11.5 hours elapsed, and 100K runners to complete seven loops and start their final loop within about 12.5 hours elapsed.
