Clear Creek Ultra

The Clear Creek Ultra is described as more of a running party than a race. The event charges a single entry fee of $25 which covers food, drink, toilets, and a few other amenities; there are no shirts, place awards, or other race swag.

The course is a one mile single track loop on private trails near 1074 Rhymes Road, Crystal Springs, Mississippi. The loop crosses creeks and includes hills. One aid station is located at the start and finish area offering water, Tailwind sports drink, and food. Runners are encouraged to set up and use their own personal aid.

Distances and entry options include:

• Three loop option
• 50k distance
• Open distance options for other participants

Participants must keep track of their own lap counts and self-report final results into UltraSignup; a race clock will be provided at the start and finish. MUTS states it does not offer refunds, transfers, or deferrals and no member discount applies. The property is private so prior permission is requested before doing a test run.

There is room for parking and camping at the start and finish. Camping is encouraged for the weekend and hosts request that participants leave dogs at home because the hosts keep dogs and chickens.
