Muddy Dash Richmond takes place on July 25, 2026 at Virginia Motorsports Park in Richmond, VA. The event is a mud run presented as a 5K course with obstacles, mud pits, and slides. Kids are welcome subject to event rules.

The course includes about a dozen "Muddy Moments" that require participants to run, walk, crawl, wade, slip, or slide. Mud pits are described as no deeper than waist level. The event is presented as noncompetitive and not focused on timing. Costumes are allowed.

A pre party begins prior to the event with music, a DJ, dancing, and photo opportunities. An after party begins at the finish area with a DJ on stage, music, dancing, food trucks, cold drinks, and beer.

Registration options include value and VIP packages. The value package includes a race bib, finisher medal, post race party access, and access to mud pits. VIP items listed include VIP check-in, an event T shirt, towel, drawstring bag, sunglasses, a temporary tattoo, and a silicone wristband. Packet pick up is scheduled for July 24 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Virginia Motorsports Park, 8018 Boydton Plank Rd, North Dinwiddie, VA 23803. Bag check is available for a fee of $5 at the event. Parking may incur a cash fee up to $20 collected by the venue.
