Course and race services

The route circles the Jamison Valley, includes sections of the UTA 100 km course and features a traverse over Mt Solitary. The course contains steep, rugged and technical sections, fast downhills, single track, stairs, creek and river crossings, and rock scrambling. The 2025 route includes a detour due to a landslide between Furber and Giant Stairs, keeping runners higher on the Prince Henry Cliff Walk before descending the Giant Stairs.

Aid is available at 25 km (Prince Henry Picnic Area) and there is an unmanned water point at 37 km. Aid stations carry emergency pads and tampons, hand sanitiser, rubbish and recycling bins, and course volunteers in contact with First Aid. There will be no single-use cups at aid stations; runners must carry their own water capacity and use their own collapsible cup or flask. Portaloos are provided at the start and finish. Runners must carry mandatory gear as specified in the event gear guide. Headphones are not permitted; walking poles are allowed. Refunds and entry transfers are managed through the event entry system under the published policies. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
