The Mt Solitary Ultra, a 45km trail run, has been postponed to 2025 due to a recent landslide on the Federal Pass, which has closed a section of the trail. The course offers a variety of terrains, including fast downhill fire/single trail, gnarly uphill, stairs, rolling single trail, creek/river crossings, rock clambering, and diverse flora, with stunning views throughout. The race is known for its rugged, steep, and technical parts, and there are qualifying standards to ensure runners complete the course in daylight hours. The event is scheduled to start at 7:00 am on Sunday, 7th April 2024, with race number collection at 6:00 am at Queen Victoria Hospital, Tableland Road, Wentworth Falls.
