Mountain Tiger Diablo

Mountain Tiger Diablo is a mountain running race held on October 10, 2026 in Clayton, CA. The event is a 12.4 mile loop that goes straight to the Mount Diablo summit and returns to the Mitchell Canyon visitor area.

The course gains and loses about 4,000 feet of elevation. Runners climb 1,700 feet in the first 2.5 miles via Eagle Peak, then continue up Bald Ridge Trail to the summit. The return is a steep descent of about 4,000 feet over roughly 6 miles via Prospector's Gap and Back Creek Trail. The course is a loop with a short spur on Summit Trail. A five hour cutoff applies.

Entry includes group shuttle transportation between an off site parking area and the start and finish area to address limited parking at Mitchell Canyon. Entries also include one post race raffle entry and a unique finisher item. The event states no refunds and offers 2027 rollovers until September 1. A 10-mile trail race in Redwood Regional Park starting and finishing at Chabot Space & Sciences Center, featuring single-track trails, steep climbs including the Woodmonster, staggered handicap starts and a team competition.
