Event Overview
The Mountain Ridge Trail Race will take place on April 11, 2026, in Highlands Ranch, Colorado. This will be the event's 11th year. The start and finish location is Mountain Ridge Middle School. Participants run on 100% dirt and single-track trails through the rolling hills of Highlands Ranch.

Course Details
All courses are out-and-back routes consisting of approximately 90% dirt trails and 10% paved paths or bike paths. They feature climbs with rewarding views of the Colorado front range.
- The 21 Mile course has 2,106 feet of elevation gain, a maximum elevation of 6,412 feet, and four aid stations.
- The Half Marathon course has 1,345 feet of elevation gain, a maximum elevation of 6,412 feet, and three aid stations.
- The 10K course has 600 feet of elevation gain, a maximum elevation of 6,369 feet, and two aid stations.
- The 5K course has 374 feet of elevation gain and a maximum elevation of 6,369 feet.
Additional Information
