Course and logistics
All races start and finish at Mountain Ridge Middle School (10590 Mountain Vista Ridge, Highlands Ranch, CO). Courses use mostly dirt and single-track trails with some bike path sections. Key course facts by distance:
- 21 Mile: 21.8 miles, 2,106 ft total elevation gain, max elevation 6,412 ft, 4 aid stations, cupless race, "Y" out-and-back course.
- Half Marathon: 13 miles, 1,345 ft gain, max elevation 6,412 ft, 3 aid stations, cupless race, "Y" out-and-back course.
- 10K: 6.2 miles, 600 ft gain, max elevation 6,369 ft, 2 aid stations, cupless race, out-and-back course.
- 5K: 3.1 miles, 374 ft gain, max elevation 6,369 ft, out-and-back course.
Trail shoes are recommended. Crews may support runners at the finish; pacers are not permitted. A designated area will be available for personal drop bags.
