The Moraga Turkey Trot-2025 takes place on Thursday, November 27, 2025 in Moraga, CA. The event is held on the cart path at Moraga Country Club, 1600 St Andrews Drive, Moraga, CA 94556. It offers two distances:
- 1.5 Miles
- 5K Run/Walk
The event is presented by the Moraga Chamber of Commerce. The 5K and 1.5 mile races are offered as "unofficial" timed events with digital timers for self-timing at the start and finish. Proceeds benefit the food bank. Parking will be limited and traffic laws will be enforced.
Registration, fees and race-day information
Advance sign-up is required; day-of registration is not available. Registration opens October 28, 2025 at 1:00pm PDT. Entry fees listed on the event page are:
- 1.5 Miles: $23.45 (includes $3.45 fee); ages 1-6: $0; ages 65-99: $21.45
- 5K Run/Walk: $34.50 (includes $4.50 fee); ages 1-6: $0; ages 65-99: $31.45
Registrants receive a T-shirt (sizes and tees not guaranteed after 11/17), a numbered running bib and other goodies. Organizers strongly encourage picking up bibs and tees before race day at California 24 Real Estate, 1100 Moraga Way, Ste 113, Moraga. Pickup times before the event are Monday 11/25 (3:00–5:30 p.m.), Tuesday 11/26 (10:00 a.m.–2:00 p.m.) and Wednesday 11/27 (1:00–3:00 p.m.). Anyone on the course must be registered, wear a bib and have signed the waiver. Prize categories include one gift basket winner per race, a best Thanksgiving-themed costume prize and random gift drawings from local businesses.
