Moonlight Bootlegger 5k – Greensboro

The Moonlight Bootlegger 5k is a night trail race on a Saturday in early May, located at Hagan-Stone Park in Pleasant Garden, North Carolina. This is the 14th edition of the event. Participants must bring their own headlamp or flashlight for the course.

The race covers a distance of 5k on rolling, lightly rooted trails. The path is marked with over 300 LED tea lights. Live bluegrass music is played along the course.

Registration includes a custom race shirt (if registered at least two weeks in advance), two tickets for post-race cocktails or mocktails, post-race food, and a commemorative moonshine mason jar. There are separate registration categories for participants aged 21-99 and participants under 21. There is also a spectator registration option.
