Owls Roost Rumble

The Owls Roost Rumble is a trail running event held on April 25, 2026, at Bur-Mil Park in Greensboro, North Carolina. The event features a half marathon that follows a complete loop around Lake Brandt and a separate four mile trail option. Registration is limited to 500 total participants.

The course uses Greensboro watershed singletrack and includes rolling terrain, lakeside views, and sections of varying difficulty. Participants may run, ruck, or hike the course; ruck and economy package options are available for both distances. Aid along the course includes multiple well stocked stations with hydration and nutrition support. Timing is chip based with course splits, and live participant tracking is offered through RaceJoy.

All registered participants receive a lightweight technical race shirt and a custom finisher medal. The finisher medal is part of the North Carolina Trail Mega Medal Series and connects with medals from other local events.
