The Ultimate Runner event on 06/27/2026 takes place at Bob Sosnik Track at Hanes Park in Winston Salem, NC. The format combines five events in one evening: four track races and a 5K cross country. The scheduled order of events is 1 mile, 400 m, 800 m, 100 m, then the 5K cross country. Participants must complete all five events to receive a finishing score. Track races are run in heats based on submitted seed times.
Registration opens 04/15/2026. The main Ultimate Runner races list a registration fee of $65.00; approved runner guides for disabled athletes are listed with no fee. A separate ceremonial Celebration Lap marks 40 years of Ultimate Runner; that event is free and open to anyone who has been part of Ultimate Runner in the past 40 years.
