Ultimate Runner
Ultimate Runner is a multi-event running competition scheduled for June 27, 2026 at Bob Sosnik Track at Hanes Park in Winston Salem, NC. The program combines four track races and a 5K cross country race held on the same evening.
Competitors must complete all five events to receive a finishing score. Finishers receive an Ultimate Runner t shirt and a 4.91 Ultimate Runner car decal. Track events are organized into heats based on submitted seed times.
Registration opens April 15, 2026. Registration deadlines vary by category: the main race closes June 19, 2026; approved runner guides close June 20, 2026; the Celebration Lap remains open through June 27, 2026. The standard registration fee for the main set of races is $65. Approved runner guides register at no fee. The Celebration Lap is a ceremonial event to mark 40 years of Ultimate Runner and is free and open to anyone who has been part of Ultimate Runner during the past 40 years.
