Monster Dash 5K : Burnaby

Monster Dash 5K takes place at Swangard Stadium in Burnaby on October 31, 2026. The event features a main 5 km race and a Mini Monster Dash of 400 m held on the stadium track for children aged 10 and under.

Course and terrain include paved pathways, grass, and loose gravel, with slight inclines and declines and some uneven surfaces. Pets are not permitted inside the stadium where the start, finish, and post race activities occur; pets on leash are allowed along the Central Park route.

Age and entry rules: the minimum age for the Monster Dash 5K is 11 years. Participants aged 11 to 13 must be accompanied on course by a registered adult. Participants aged 14 to 17 may take part without an accompanying adult. A parent or legal guardian must sign the event waiver for all participants under 18.

Registration package items include a custom swag bag for registered participants, a goodie bag and finisher medal for every Mini Monster Dash participant, a chip timed race bib for 5K entrants, and post race refreshments. Entries are non refundable and non transferable.

Packet pickup is at Fit First Foot Wear, Christine Sinclair Community Centre, 3713 Kensington Ave, Burnaby BC on Friday, October 30, 2026, between 12:00 PM and 6:00 PM; confirmation and photo ID are required.
