Mince Pie 10

The Mince Pie 10 is a seasonal running event hosted by the Seaford Striders in Peacehaven, East Sussex. The race takes place over a 10 mile course and incorporates a festive atmosphere with Christmas music and encouraged fancy dress. The event supports local charities, including The Rockinghorse Children's Charity and St Wilfrid's Hospice.

The route consists of multi-terrain surfaces, featuring approximately six miles of farm tracks and bridleways. The remaining four miles are held on quiet roads. Participants should expect a steep hill around the six-mile mark and mud throughout the off-road sections. The event is open to runners only; walkers and dog runners are not permitted to participate.

Race headquarters are located at the Peacehaven Leisure Centre, which provides facilities such as changing rooms, toilets, and a social area. Limited parking is available near the leisure centre and on surrounding roads in the industrial estate. There are no on-the-day entries available for this race.

Finishers receive a variety of items and services, including:

  • 10 Miles
  • Bespoke finishers medal made from recycled materials
  • Mince pies and finish line goodies
  • Access to pre and post-race massages for a donation
  • Professional event photography

Trophies are awarded to the top three male and female finishers, with Christmas puddings provided for those finishing in fourth and fifth place. A team award is also presented for the group with the highest turnout. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
