Mince Pie 10 : event overview

The Mince Pie 10 is a 10 miles race organised by Seaford Striders and based at Peacehaven Leisure Centre in Peacehaven, East Sussex. The route uses a mixture of surfaces with approximately six miles on farm tracks and bridleways and the remaining four miles on reasonably quiet roads. A testing hill appears around mile six and muddy conditions are likely. Walkers and dog runners are not permitted.

The event features seasonal elements such as encouraged fancy dress and Christmas music. Photographs are supplied by Sussex Sports Photography and pre and post race massages are available for a donation, provided by Sea Spray Sports Massages. The event includes a bespoke finisher medal made from recycled materials, a warmup session led by GingerFit, a kit swap managed by 3WordRuns, mince pies and finish line refreshments for finishers, trophies for the top three male and female finishers, awards for fourth and fifth places, a team award for the most turned out, and free photographs.

The race supports two charities: The Rockinghorse Children’s Charity and St Wilfrid’s Hospice. Race headquarters are at the leisure centre and will be signposted. Parking near the leisure centre is limited and marshals will assist with directing vehicles. There are no on the day entries and the event does not allow deferrals or refunds. Event information is sent to registered entrants prior to race day. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
