Midnight Sun 5 Mi Trail Race

The event is a 5 mile trail race held on the longest day of the year and described as taking place on the first day of Summer. The course runs through Soaring Eagle Park on a well maintained King County trail and includes natural trail features such as rocks and tree roots.

Aid is provided on course with water, Gatorade, first aid, and Gel/Gu placed every 3 miles. Timing is by chip time and runners must wear their bib on the front torso for photo finish scoring. There is noted parking available on Trossachs Boulevard.

The event materials list potential wildlife that may be encountered on the course, including black bear, cougars, barn owls, deer, rabbits, and eagles. Registration includes a race t shirt and the Midnight Sun Classic Gold Finisher Medallion. Post race items include apples, bananas, and oranges and there will be summer themed music at the finish area.

A 25 mile race around Soaring Eagle Park in Sammamish with multiple distance options and a virtual 25 mile. Aid stations every 2.5 miles, commemorative T-shirts and finisher medals, plus food and street parking.

Trail runs at Ravenna Park in Seattle on May 26, 2026 with 4k, 8k and 12k options on a 4.1 km forest loop featuring moderate climbs, an aid station, post-race food, and awards as part of the Tuesday Night Trail to Grill series.

A timed ultramarathon on a 1.75 mile loop at Lake Tye with 12 hour, 6 hour and 3 hour options, full aid station support, wooden finisher medals, and proceeds benefiting local trail conservation.
