Ten Trails Active Club 5k Summer Series

The Ten Trails Active Club 5k Summer Series is a community running series held in Civic Park, Black Diamond, Washington. The series comprises seven bi weekly 5k races on the following dates: June 17, July 1, July 15, July 29, August 12, August 26, and September 9, 2026.

A single registration covers the entire season and there is no registration fee. Each race is run on an open, twisty trail course through the Ten Trails trails and is hand timed. Race results are posted online within a few days after each event.

Post race snacks and water are provided. Participants are asked to bring their own water bottles to help reduce plastic cup use. On weeks without a race, the group organizes a run that departs from Civic Park.

The series includes multiple award categories, including fastest runners and walkers and categories for club spirit, sprint segment effort, and support of others. To be eligible for season prizes, participants must compete in at least four of the seven races. Awards are presented at an end of season awards potluck held a few weeks after the final race.

Organizers are a small volunteer group and accept donations to help cover event costs. Registration and course details are provided by the event organizers. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
