Super HYAK Marathon and Half

The Super HYAK Marathon and Super HYAK Half Marathon take place on June 13, 2026, in North Bend, Washington. Both events follow point-to-point courses along the Palouse to Cascades Trail and through the Cascade foothills, finishing in North Bend.

Distances:

  • 26.2 miles (Marathon)
  • 13.1 miles (Half Marathon)

The courses are USATF certified. The marathon is a Boston Qualifier and the course profile features sustained, gradual downhill grades with a total elevation loss of 1,414 ft and a net downhill of 1,247 ft. The route begins near Snoqualmie Pass and includes a section through the Snoqualmie Tunnel.

On-course support includes regularly spaced aid stations, shuttle transportation from the finish to the start, drop bag service, chip timing with live results and splits, and medical support. The event provides a finisher medal and a technical race shirt. Parking is available near the start.

The event is described by organizers as optimized for performance; many runners use the course to pursue personal records and Boston Qualifier times.
