  • 13.1 Miles: A half marathon distance featuring a gradual descent through forested terrain.

The Super Hyak Marathon and Half Marathon take place on the Palouse to Cascades Trail in Washington. Both courses are USATF-certified and designed to be fast, featuring smooth and gradual downhill grades through the Cascade foothills. The marathon course includes a total descent of 1,414 feet and a net downhill of 1,247 feet, which allows for Boston Marathon qualification without a time penalty.

Participants in the marathon distance travel through remote sections of trail and pass through the Snoqualmie Tunnel. The half marathon course offers a consistent downhill profile through mountain scenery and forests. Both races are point-to-point routes that emphasize steady pacing and runnable surfaces without steep drops.

Registration includes professional timing with live results and mile splits, a technical race shirt, and a custom finisher medal. The event provides shuttle transportation to the start lines and a drop bag service for runners. On-course support includes regularly spaced aid stations and medical staff. Finishers also receive printed finisher cards upon completing their respective distances.

The event is managed as part of the Run Super Series. Logistics such as packet pickup and specific transportation details are organized to support runners throughout the race weekend. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
