Metahqua 24

Metahqua 24 is a multi-format trail event held in Chillicothe, Ohio at a Ross County Parks District park. The event uses a roughly 2 mile loop trail that combines single track and grass surfaces. The loop includes about 0.7 mile of climb with 200 feet of gain, about 0.7 mile of descent with 200 feet of loss, and about 0.6 mile of flat terrain. Trails are described as run-able and well groomed.

Distance and race options include:

  • Youth 2 mile single loop
  • 10k three-loop race
  • 24 hour solo as many laps as possible
  • 24 hour four-person relay as many laps as possible
  • 100 mile solo new option with a 32 hour limit

The addition of the 100 mile option changes the 24 hour rules: the 24 hour event ends at 24 hours and will not continue beyond that time for buckle attempts. Runners who complete 100 miles within 24 hours remain eligible for a buckle.

Parking will be offsite at Walnut Creek Campground, about 1.5 miles from the race site, with shuttle service and a $10 per vehicle parking charge payable in cash. Each paid parked vehicle receives a $5 credit toward future RunFluent events or race day swag. Each registered runner is allotted a 10x10 tent or crew space; relay teams share one space. Setup times will be assigned with priority to earlier registrants.

RunFluent LLC does not issue refunds on registrations. Deferrals to future RunFluent events are offered for the amount equal to the registration fee and must be requested four weeks before the event. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
