Course and logistics

The course is on trails and is described as hilly with some steep sections; participants may need to hike or walk the steepest climbs. Aid stations supply water, an electrolyte drink (Ultima Replenisher), and snack bars. Runners are advised to carry at least 20 ounces of water. The event uses chip timing attached to the bib. Bibs must be worn on the course.

Parking at Huddart Park requires $6 cash per car and is limited; no dogs are allowed inside the park. Packet pickup is at Huddart Park, 100 Kings Mountain Road, Woodside, CA, and a photo ID is required to receive a packet. Participants can opt out of specific swag items to reduce their entry fee: no shirt saves $8, no medal saves $3, and no necklace saves $3.
