Mermaid Trail Run - Huddart Park

The event offers multiple trail distances and a timed 6 Hour challenge on a 3 mile loop at Huddart Park in Woodside. The course is hilly with some steep sections; participants may need to hike or walk the steep parts. The event is cupless as part of a sustainability initiative; participants can purchase a reusable silicon cup with registration or bring their own. Aid stations along the course provide water, an electrolyte drink called CURE, and snack bars; participants are advised to carry at least 20 ounces of water.

Parking at Huddart Park has a $6.00 cash fee per car, parking is limited, and no dogs are allowed inside the park. Packet pickup occurs at Sports Basement Redwood City on Thursday and at Huddart Park on race day; a photo ID is required to collect a packet except for minors. Entry fees are listed on the registration page and youth receive a 20% discount. Swag options are customizable during registration and opting out reduces the entry fee by specified amounts. Results use chip timing attached to the bib; runners must wear their bib. Awards are given to female overall and female age-group finishers; male participants are not eligible for overall or age-group awards. Volunteer shifts can earn future race credits.
