The Meedies Running Club 24 Hour Charity Relay is held on 3 and 4 July 2026 at Lochore Meadows Country Park, near Lochgelly in Fife. The event uses a multi terrain 5k route around the loch and runs continuously over a 24 hour period. Participants cover as many laps as they choose.

Distances are self selected and can range from 5k up to 50k and beyond. The event lists specific distance options including:

  • 5K
  • 10K
  • Half marathon

The start line is adjacent to the Willie Clarke Park Centre on the grass beside the main car park. Drinks, tea, coffee and other refreshments are available throughout, provided by club members. There is a gazebo for shelter, space to store bags at participants own risk, and occasional BBQ provision with a small charge. The Willie Clarke Centre cafe offers hot drinks and snacks during its opening hours.

The event is run for charity and funds will be donated to local causes. Finishers medals are presented to all participants. First aid support is available during the event. Toilet facilities are available throughout the 24 hours and there is ample parking; the park also has a motorhome and campervan area which requires booking through the park centre.

Entry fees are non refundable. The organisers reserve the right to modify, cancel or reschedule the event if circumstances affecting health and safety occur. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
