Cross Country on the Farm Trail 5K
This event is a 5K trail series race held at Agricultural History Farm Park in Derwood, Maryland. The course is part of a low-key MCRRC race series categorized as trail and summer running.
MCRRC members may participate without paying a race fee. Members are required to sign up for a 2026 bib and chip in advance; the 2026 bib and chip will be available at any 2026 low-key race. Participants with a 2025 or older chip should bring it to exchange for the 2026 bib and chip. New members or those without an older chip are asked to bring a $5 chip deposit. Runners who ordered a personalized 2026 bib should not re-register for a standard bib.
Non members may register for a fee of $22 for participants ages 18 and over and $11.60 for participants under 18; these amounts include the registration and processing fee. Online registration remains open through race start. Bib and chip pickup occurs on race morning near the start area and volunteers will be on hand to assist.
The event is organized by a volunteer club and requires volunteer staffing. Non member registrations can be transferred to another MCRRC low-key race; monetary refunds are not provided. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
