MCRRC Seneca Creek Greenway Trail Marathon & 50K

The event takes place on March 7, 2026 at Seneca Creek State Park, Nuthatch Pavilion, in Gaithersburg, Maryland. It uses sections of the Seneca Creek Greenway Trail and nearby parallel single-track trails in Montgomery County.

Two race distances are offered:

  • Marathon
  • 50K

Marathon and 50K entrants may choose their final distance during the race by stopping at the marathon finish or continuing on to complete the 50K. The event is open to participants aged 15 and older. Registration prices are listed for each event, with an early price period noted and price increases scheduled after February 22, 2026. Registration availability began in October 2025.

All participants receive a custom race bib, a short-sleeved technical shirt, and a finisher medal. Members of the organizing club receive a $5 entry discount that is applied automatically for current members.
