Course and race features
The course follows single-track and parallel trails along Seneca Creek in Seneca Creek State Park. The trail is described as muddy, rocky, rooty, and hilly, with steep sections but no major overall elevation gain or loss. Marathon and 50K participants may choose their final distance when returning to the finish; runners can stop at the marathon distance or continue on to complete the 50K.
