Mastondon is a trail race produced by FootZone on Sunday, March 1, 2026, at the Maston Trail Network near Tumalo and Redmond, Oregon (20135 Newcomb Rd). The course distance is about 10 miles with roughly 400 feet of elevation change. Registration tiers and dates are: early (now through Feb 1) $55, regular (Feb 2–27) $65, and late (Feb 28 and day of race, space permitting) $70. The presenting sponsor is Nike Trail. Every finisher receives a finisher prize; top three finishers in each division (Men’s Overall, Women’s Overall, Men’s Masters, Women’s Masters) receive special prizes and additional sponsor prizes will be raffled.

Course and race logistics

The race uses the BLM Maston trail network between Tumalo and Redmond, with views of the Deschutes River, regional mountains, juniper trees, and high desert terrain. There is one aid station at approximately 4.25 miles offering water and gels; cups will be available but participants are encouraged to carry a reusable cup. Packet pickup is scheduled for Saturday, February 28 at FootZone in downtown Bend (842 NW Wall Street); day-of packet pickup and registration (if space is available) begins at the Newcomb trailhead. Post-race food and beer will be provided by Cascade Lakes Brewing. Refunds are not offered except that race directors may modify or cancel the event for extreme conditions without issuing refunds.
