Massanutten’s Revenge 100

Massanutten’s Revenge 100 is a trail ultramarathon held on October 2, 2026, in the Massanutten range. The course is approximately 110 miles long with about 22,300 feet of total ascent and descent. The route begins in the Camp Roosevelt horse parking area and finishes at the nearby Camp Roosevelt pavilion. It follows much of the traditional MMT routing in reverse, starts by climbing the Stephens Trail, finishes through Duncan Hollow, replaces road sections with trail, and includes a climb of Waterfall twice.

The event uses a mix of staffed and unattended aid stations placed at multiple mile points along the course, including Habron Gap, Veach West, Buzzard Rock, Elizabeth Furnace, Woodstock Tower, Edinburg Gap, Gap Creek, picnic areas, and water drops. There is an overall time limit of 48 hours. Pacers are permitted. All participants must provide crew support for the race second half, with that requirement beginning roughly 20 to 24 hours after the start.

Entry is open and the event has no entry fee; entrants are assigned aid or supplies to provide. The club organizes volunteers for aid and logistics. The event does not provide medical personnel or medical supplies along the course; runners are responsible for their own medical needs and for arranging emergency care if required.
