Massanutten Mountain Trails 100 Mile Run

Fort Valley, United States • 16 May 2026

MMT 100 is a rugged, rocky ultramarathon on the Massanutten Mountains in Virginia’s George Washington National Forest, Shenandoah Valley. The 100-mile course includes short but steep climbs and more than 18,500 feet of total ascent, demanding endurance and technical footing. The race starts and finishes at Caroline Furnace Lutheran Camp, flanked by the East and West ridges of the Massanuttens. A 36-hour cutoff and a strong volunteer network create a supportive, communal atmosphere. Pre-race training runs and an extensive participants’ guide supplement the event, with a history of course records and reports that celebrate Massanutten Rocks!
