Marriott's Way Marathon

Norwich, United Kingdom • 21 Feb 2027

Event Overview

The Marriott’s Way Marathon and Half Marathon return for their third year, following a route through Norfolk along the historic Marriott’s Way. This event raises funds for the East Anglian Air Ambulance, with a portion of each entry fee donated to the charity. The course is largely traffic-free and follows an easy-to-track path, though the distances are approximate as they have not been measured by a UKA approved official.

Course Distances

The event offers two approximate distance options:

  • Full Marathon
  • Half Marathon

Route Details

The Full Marathon begins at Wensum Park in Norwich, while the Half Marathon starts at Whitwell and Reepham Station. Both routes lead to a common finish point at Aylsham Friendship Hall. The event is open to both runners and walkers, and is licensed by the ARC. Marshals and signage are positioned along the course to assist participants.

Services and Facilities

Participants have access to water and snacks at stations along the route, with hot drinks and food provided at the finish hall. First aid services are available throughout the event. For transport, optional coach service is available to take participants from Aylsham Market Place to their respective starting points before the event begins.

Finishers receive a unique medal, and prizes are awarded to the top three male and female finishers in both race categories. Participation is limited to a total of 400 individuals across both distances. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
