The Marriott's Way Marathon and Half Marathon is a trail running event on 15/02/2026 held along Marriott's Way. It is the organiser's second edition of the trail marathon and half marathon. Both races finish at Aylsham Friendship Hall on a traffic-free route. The course follows the Marriott's Way corridor; it has not been measured by a UKA approved course measurer, so distances are approximate. The event is limited to 400 participants in total. Runners and walkers are welcome, and time allowances are provided.

Entry, transport and services

Entry fees are:

  • Full Marathon: UKA member £44, non-UKA member £46.
  • Half Marathon: UKA member £34, non-UKA member £36.

A coach transport option to the starts is available for £12 per person. A 5% donation from each entry will be made to East Anglian Air Ambulance. Entries are non-refundable and cannot be deferred; transfers to another participant are allowed until midnight on 07/02/2026. A £2 fee reduction applies for verified UK Athletics members. Minimum ages on race day are 18 for the marathon and 17 for the half marathon. The event provides route water and snacks, first aid cover, event marshals and signage where possible, on-the-day race number collection, a finisher medal, and hot drinks and snacks at the finish. Trail runs nearby

Run a 48 mile point to point ultramarathon along the scenic Peddars Way from Knettishall Heath to Holme next the Sea on 1 February 2026. Enjoy remote rural paths, on course support and a bespoke wooden finishers medal.

Tackle the Winter Poppyline 2026, a 50 mile winter walking challenge across Norfolk coast and countryside on 14 and 15 February with a 22.5 hour time limit. Limited to 120 places and a qualifier for the 2026 LDWA Hunnypot 100.

Run scenic trails through Stody Estate woods and rolling fields with 4 km, 8 km and 12 km options, chip timing and eco friendly finishers medals. Support Break and pick up a finisher sports T shirt on the day.

Experience a scenic half marathon starting and finishing at historic Blickling Hall, weaving through mixed road and track for a memorable spring run. The event is sold out but features chip timing, a bespoke medal and supports local sport.
